What is Speech Therapy?
Speech therapy is more than just helping someone talk—it's about unlocking communication, building connections, and supporting independence at every stage of life.

For children with Autism, Down syndrome, or other developmental conditions, speech therapy can help with:
  • Understanding and using language

  • Developing social skills and interactions

  • Expressing needs, wants, and emotions

  • Reducing frustration around communication

  • Using alternative communication methods (like AAC) if needed

For adults recovering from a stroke, traumatic brain injury, or living with conditions like Parkinson’s disease, ALS, or dementia, speech therapy offers support with:

  • Regaining speech and language skills

  • Improving voice strength and clarity

  • Swallowing safely and eating comfortably

  • Enhancing memory, focus, and cognitive communication

  • Maintaining dignity and quality of life

Speech Therapy is guided by our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who tailor sessions to each person’s needs, strengths, and goals. All our therapists are also ASHA certified.

Whether we’re working with a child learning to say their first words or an adult relearning to speak after injury, we’re here to support progress with empathy, patience, and expertise.

With consistent support, speech therapy can make a profound impact on daily life, confidence, and connection with others.
